Andrew Stark was a serving member of the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for 21 years. Throughout this
time he developed expertise in several dimensions of security and risk management including diplomatic
protection, counter-insurgency, surveillance and criminal investigations.

Andrew has a proven decision making capacity and ability to deliver outcome driven results, both
operationally and strategically. With outstanding levels of communication, he is able to deliver clear
messages to a diverse range of international & multicultural communities. His ability to cultivate and
maintain functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders allows him to consistently
deliver at exceptional levels.

Acting as Personal Security Adviser, he has consulted for numerous foreign Heads of State including
Nelson Mandela, Tony Blair and George W Bush. He spent 6 years as Security Adviser to the Australian
Foreign Minister and worked with each Australian Prime Minister dating back to 1990.

Andrew has travelled extensively both domestically and internationally, and conducted risk assessments
and threat analysis in countries such as Israel, Turkey, the Philippines, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Nigeria,
Uganda, Syria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, India, Indonesia, East Timor and throughout the South
Pacific.
